Un debate entre el senador Fernando Solanas y el economista Roberto Cachanosky puso un tema histórico, pero olvidado, en la mesa: la cantidad de empleados que tiene la Cámara de Senadores: “Usted tiene 35 entre planta permanente y planta transitoria. Es casi una pyme”, le dijeron a “Pino”. Por eso NOTICIAS buscó en los archivos públicos de la Cámara alta y descubrió que el director de cine era casi un moderado al lado de otros: el nombre de Roberto Basualdo, legislador de Cambiemos por San Juan, sobresalió. Es que el hombre tiene 60 asesores (22 en planta permanente y 38 de manera transitoria).

Sin embargo, tras el artículo de esta revista, el sanjuanino grabó un video “para hacer una autocrítica”. “Super casero, con el teléfono celular. Nada de asesores”, avisó por las dudas.

“Hoy firmé que a partir del 31 de marzo, quedan únicamente en mi despacho de senador 15 agentes transitorios y en el bloque al cual pertenezco 8 de planta permanente. En total quedamos 23”, avisó. Pero luego agregó: “La otra gente que estaba conmigo no van a quedar sin trabajo, porque son de planta permanente”.

La solución de Basualdo pone de relieve la profundidad del problema en la Cámara alta. En definitiva no importa quién es el que se queda con los asesores, sino que hay más de 5.700 empleados. “Les quería pedir disculpas si creyeron que yo tenía un beneficio. ninguno personal”, agregó el hombre que lideraba el top ten. Detrás suyo hay otro oficialista: Luis Naidenoff, con 48 empleados.

“La mayoría dicen que todos los senadores son vagos y no”, indicó Basualdo, quien hasta ahora tenía dos despachos, uno en el Senado y otro en el Anexo, pero que ahora se quedará sólo con uno.

En el video, Basualdo enumeró los aspectos positivos, además de los 500 proyectos que asegura haber presentado en 2018 y los más de 50 que ya inició en 2019: “Tenía la devolución de pasajes. Me debían 70, alrededor de 300 mil pesos. Y se los doné al Estado. No los cobré. De viaje al exterior fui una vez y les dije que no quería cobrar viáticos. Y cuando me llaman por teléfono les digo no me llamen al Senado, no quiero que gaste plata de mi despacho. Llamo yo”.

“Yo estoy desde el 2005. En 2007 se iban senadores y me decían: te lo podes quedar, es muy bueno. Yo me los quedaba. ¿Cuál era la impronta que le daba yo? Incentivarlos. Y se fueron sumando. Cada vez que se iban renovando senados, muchos me dejaban a su gente”, explicó Basualdo, visiblemente molesto, sobre la cantidad de empleados que acumula en sus despachos.

Finalmente, el senador se quejó: “A veces los que hacemos política nos equivocamos. Nunca dijeron este fue el senador que más proyectos presenta o que más trabajó, no. Lo malo nomás publican”.
