El gobernador Miguel Lifschitz encabezará este sábado el acto donde se descubrirá una placa y una réplica del submarino. Será en el Puerto de la ciudad de Santa Fe.

El gobernador de la provincia, Miguel Lifschitz, encabezará este sábado, desde las 16 horas, el descubrimiento de un memorial en homenaje a las 44 víctimas del ARA San Juan.

El acto tendrá lugar en la cabecera del Dique 2 del puerto de la ciudad de Santa Fe (cito en calle Francisco Miguenz 250), donde fueron emplazados una réplica del submarino, una placa recordatoria y un mástil naval.

En la ocasión, la ministra de Educación Claudia Balagué entregará a Jorge Suarez el diploma de fin de curso de su hijo, Germán Suarez, quien perdió la vida en el ARA San Juan.

PROYECTO
La idea de realizar un homenaje a los 44 tripulantes del ARA San Juan nació del Teniente de Fragata y reservista de la Armada Argentina Rolando Garavaglia, quien elevó el proyecto a los directivos de la Escuela Técnica Dr. Nicolás Avellaneda de la capital provincial, lugar donde cursó sus estudios Germán Suarez, el único santafesino que falleció en la tragedia.

En la institución educativa los alumnos construyeron la réplica del submarino con el acompañamiento del docente Carlos Rouzic, quien también es Teniente de Fragata y reservista de la Armada.

El memorial se compone de una réplica del submarino, con 4 metros de largo. La placa es de mármol y lleva los nombres de todos los tripulantes de la nave. Y el mástil naval engalana el espacio en la cabecera del dique 2 del puerto.
