El delantero egipcio del Liverpool Mohamed Salah quedó descartado por una lesión del partido revancha de mañana ante Barcelona, por las semifinales de la Champions League.
“Salah no jugará por una contusión, él está bien, pero no lo suficiente para jugar. Está desesperado para jugar, pero no lo podemos hacer”, confirmó el entrenador alemán del Liverpool, Jürgen Kloop, en conferencia de prensa.
Y continuó: “No es la situación que queríamos para el partido de vuelta, pero vamos a intentarlo. Y si el partido nos da una oportunidad, ahí estaremos”.
Liverpool tendrá que remontar frente a Barcelona la derrota 3-0 que sufrió en la ida y además de Salah no podrá contar con Firmino ni Keita.
Salah se lesionó el último fin de semana durante la victoria de Liverpool ante Newcastle al chocar con el arquero rival Dubravka.
