Tras las inundaciones de principio de año, parecía que el alivio por fin había llegado para el norte de Santa Fe. Las producciones agropecuarias estaban destruidas, en su mayoría, pero al menos era tiempo de ponerse de pie nuevamente. Sin embargo, otra vez las lluvias y el agua que baja de Santiago del Estero puso a los vecinos de rodillas una vez más.
“Está toda la zona tremendamente complicada. Comenzó en diciembre y nos dio un alivio en febrero. Pero el agua está subiendo de nuevo y tenemos pérdidas totales”, dijo al canal de noticias TN la productora rural de Villa Minetti Loreley Naldini.
Según la mujer, que tenía en sus campos cultivos de soja y maíz y no podrá recuperar nada cuando baje el agua, lo que falta son obras. “Aparte de que llovió muchísimo necesitamos obras. Si las hubiese estaríamos más aliviados. Acá todos con mis vecinos y la gente de la zona decimos que necesitamos intervención de las autoridades de ambas provincias para que escurran las aguas que bajan de Santiago. La ruta provincial está más baja que los campos y haciendo de canal”.
Loreley contó en el canal de noticias nacional que pasó toda su vida en el campo: “Me levanto entre las seis y las siete, y trabajamos todo el día hasta las ocho o las nueve”.
Y por último insistió, luego de revelar que el agua baja desde Santiago del Estero a Santa Fe: “Necesitamos que las provincias se pongan de acuerdo”.
