El diputado nacional Héctor Olivares resultó gravemente herido y un funcionario que lo acompañaba murió luego que fueran atacados a tiros hoy en inmediaciones del Congreso Nacional, ante lo cual correligionarios de la UCR advirtieron que se trataría de “un atentado”.
La víctima fatal fue identificada como Miguel Marcelo Yadon, un catamarqueño que se desempeñaba como coordinador de Obras del Fondo Fiduciario para el Transporte Eléctrico Federal de La Rioja.
El ataque, cuyas circunstancias intentaban determinarse, se produjo a las 6:51 en la intersección de Rivadavia y Rodríguez Peña, a escasos metros del palacio legislativo, indicaron fuentes policiales a NA.
Según trascendió, mientras el legislador y el asesor se encontraban en la vereda frente a la Plaza del Congreso, desconocidos que pasaron por la Avenida Rivadavia, a bordo de un auto Volkswagen Vento patente LYS 656, abrieron fuego contra ellos.
Los investigadores y peritos de la Policía Científica se encontraban relevando la zona y se trabaja con la hipótesis de que “claramente es una agresión y no un hecho de inseguridad”, indicaron fuentes a NA.
“Según declararon testigos, les dispararon desde arriba del auto. Se cree que los agresores tenían estudiado los movimientos Se está revisando la línea de tiempo de las cámaras de seguridad para reconstruir el hecho”.
Olivares, que también se desempeña como presidente del Comité de la UCR de La Rioja, se encontraba “internado en grave estado” en el Hospital Ramos Mejía, informó el director del SAME, Alberto Crescenti, en declaraciones a TN.
Según indicaron voceros policiales a NA, todo apunta a que se trató de una “agresión” y no “un hecho de inseguridad”.
Olivares recibió un disparo en el pecho y Yadon en el abdomen, por lo que murió minutos más tarde.
El hecho comenzó a ser investigado por efectivos de la Comisaría Vecinal 1B e interviene la Fiscalía 40, a cargo de Estela Andrade de Segura, y el juez de instrucción Mariano Iturralde.
Al respecto, correligionarios de la UCR denunciaron que se trató de “un atentado”.
“Un auto gris estacionó 30 minutos antes. Lo estaban esperando.
Bajaron la ventanilla y lo acribillaron. Evidentemente fue un acto premeditado”, destacó su par en la Cámara baja José Cano, quien recordó que Olivares estuvo trabajando el pasado miércoles en el proyecto antibarras.
En tanto, la senadora nacional Inés Brizuela y Doria afirmó que los integrantes del radicalismo están “en shock y conmocionados” y que miembros del partido están yendo al Ramos Mejía para tener un “informe directo de la situación”.
La legisladora oficialista advirtió que los atacantes “deben haber tenido estudiados los movimientos”, debido a que señaló que Olivares solía realizar una caminata matutina por la Plaza del Congreso.
Brizuela y Doria contó que Olivares iba a viajar esta mañana a La Rioja junto al ex diputado nacional de la UCR Ricardo Gil Lavedra para encabezar una serie de actividades partidarias.
“Hay que llamar a todo el mundo a la calma. Es algo inusual. No pueden suceder estas cosas en la Argentina. Uno se mete a tocar temas con intereses muy profundos y no dimensiona lo que puede suceder”, subrayó la senadora nacional a TN.
“Murió una persona de bien, un productor agropecuario. No hay ningún motivo”, lamentó el también integrante de la Cámara alta Julio Martínez, que ratificó que Olivares “todas las mañana salía a caminar con Yadon, que era amigo de él del secundario y compartían departamento en Buenos Aires”.
Y concluyó: “Claramente fue un atentado. No se ven motivos de robo. No entiendo nada”.
