El diputado nacional Héctor Olivares resultó gravemente herido y un funcionario riojano murió hoy tras sufrir un ataque a tiros en las inmediaciones del Congreso Nacional, hecho por el cual la Policía detuvo a una persona y mantiene una intensa búsqueda de los dos supuestos agresores.
El episodio se produjo a las 6:51 en la intersección de Rivadavia y Rodríguez Peña, a escasos metros del palacio legislativo, cuando Olivares y Yadón realizaban una caminata.
Si bien en un principio se barajó la posibilidad de un “atentado” relacionado con las actividades políticas de las víctimas, fuentes oficiales confirmaron a NA que por estas horas la investigación se centra en un motivo “personal”.
La víctima fatal, Yadón, era catamarqueño y se desempeñaba como coordinador de Obras del Fondo Fiduciario para el Transporte Eléctrico Federal de La Rioja.
Según se aprecia en videos de seguridad de la zona, mientras el legislador y el asesor caminaban por la vereda frente a la Plaza del Congreso, desconocidos que se encontraban sobre la Avenida Rivadavia, a bordo de un auto Volkswagen Vento patente LYS 656, abrieron fuego contra ellos.
Los investigadores y peritos de la Policía Científica relevaron la zona y se trabajaba con la hipótesis de que “fue una agresión y no un hecho de inseguridad”, indicaron fuentes a NA.
“Se cree que los agresores tenían estudiado los movimientos. Se está revisando la línea de tiempo de las cámaras de seguridad para reconstruir el hecho”, indicaron las fuentes.
En tanto, señalaron que los agresores “los estaban esperando, porque ambos hacían siempre la misma rutina” y los tenían “marcados”.
Se investiga si los dos agresores que aparecen en los videos son padre e hijo, o tío y sobrino.
El detenido es Rafael Cano Carmona, quien fue arrestado en horas de la tarde en el marco del allanamiento que tuvo lugar en la vivienda ubicada en Belgrano 1735.
Cano Carmona es el cuñado del hombre de apellido Fernández, identificado como titular del auto Volkswagen Vento en el que escaparon los agresores.
Hubo allanamientos policiales también en un estacionamiento donde se vio a los sospechosos en la calle Yrigoyen 1310.
Olivares, que también se desempeña como presidente del Comité de la UCR de La Rioja, se encuentra “internado en grave estado” en el Hospital Ramos Mejía, informó el director del SAME, Alberto Crescenti, en declaraciones a TN.
Olivares recibió un disparo que le generó complicaciones en el hígado, en tanto que Yadón sufrió cinco impactos en distintas partes del cuerpo, aunque un tiro en el abdomen le provocó la muerte en pocos minutos.
El hecho es investigado por efectivos de la Comisaría Vecinal 1B e interviene la Fiscalía 40, a cargo de Estela Andrade de Segura, y el juez de instrucción Mariano Iturralde, quien ya determinó el secreto de sumario.
