El defensor Andrés Cadavid llegó a Colón con un importante currículum que lo avalaba. A sus 33 años, había pasado los últimos cinco como capitán y referente de Millonarios. Sin embargo en el fútbol argentino no pudo hacer la diferencia.
Al experimentado central se lo vio lento en sus primeros encuentros y luego no logró convencer a ninguno de los entrenadores que fueron pasando este semestre por Colón. Por eso, al finalizar la primera parte del año, habría decidido irse.

Según comunican desde medios colombianos, el defensor volvería a Colombia, para continuar su carrera en Independiente de Medellín. “El salario estaría acordado, sólo falta la firma que se hará la próxima semana”, aseguran desde el país cafetero.
El DIM es uno de los equipos más representativos de Colombia. Ganó seis veces el torneo local y es uno de los que más representa a ese país en la Libertadores y la Sudamericana.

Cadavid integró la lista de concentrados en Uruguay, ante River y probablemente vuelva a estar entre los que estén a disposición de Lavallén para el próximo martes. Luego se irá rumbo a su país. En el fútbol argentino apenas disputó seis partidos (ninguno internacional) y no consiguió hacer goles.
