La renovada flota de la Línea 2, que contará con 17 unidades adaptadas para personas con movilidad reducida, aire acondicionado y tecnología para el cuidado del medio ambiente fue presentada este sábado.
El recambio se realiza de acuerdo a lo que han marcado los usuarios en una encuesta realizada el año pasado por el municipio en redes sociales.
El intendente José Corral presentó este sábado la renovación de la flota de la Línea 2 de colectivos que, en sus dos ramales, une por un lado Santa Fe con San José del Rincón y, por otro, los barrios del centro y suroeste con Colastiné Sur. La línea contará con 17 unidades adaptadas para personas con movilidad reducida, aire acondicionado y tecnología que contribuye al cuidado del medio ambiente reduciendo los gases de efecto invernadero. Seis de ellas ya prestaron servicios en estos días.
Para el Intendente, esta medida “es parte del trabajo que comenzamos para modernizar el transporte público de la ciudad y es un gran esfuerzo que realizamos todos, para tener un transporte público de calidad y eficiente”. La Línea 2, “la que más se usa en la ciudad” recalcó el mandatario, en su recorrido alcanza el Hospital de Niños “Dr. Orlando Alassia”, Ciudad Universitaria y los barrios El Pozo, La Guardia y Colastiné Norte, no es la única que realizó el recambio de las unidades: ya lo hicieron las líneas 3, 5, 16, 18 y 9.
