Por la tercera final de la Superlega de Italia, la Sir Perugia de Luciano De Cecco se lució en otra noche de gran vóley frente a una Lube Civitanova que volvió a sufrir el PalaBarton para sellar un 3-0 (25-17, 25-20, 25-18) contundente que los deja a un partido del bicampeonato. Perugia visitará ahora Civitanova en busca del punto final de la serie, el próximo sábado a las 13hs de nuestro país con transmisión de DeporTV.

Al igual que en el encuentro previo en el PalaBarton, fue Perugia el que comenzó mejor logrando tres puntos de ventaja desde el inicio gracias al dúo Atanasijevic-León. Sokolov apareció para acortar en el marcador, pero los de De Cecco lograron una diferencia que parecía inalcanzable para la visita luego de un nuevo ace del cubano (MVP con 20 puntos, 3 aces y 70% de eficiencia en ataque). Civitanova, por su parte, intentó forzar desde el saque sin obtener resultados positivos, mientras los dueños de casa cerraron el parcial justamente por esa vía.

Civitanova hizo un intento de recuperación en el segundo con Sokolov y Leal a la cabeza, pero rápidamente la Sir se fortaleció de contra y con primeros tiempos de Podrascanin emparejó en 8. Atanasijevic y León volvieron a ser los protagonistas de una pesadilla para Lube que, como en el primer partido, no lograba concretar los puntos. Stankovic intentó para los suyos (19-15), pero Bernardi hizo entrar a Hoag, que no perdonó y sumó en saque y bloqueo para desequilibrar a los “cucinieri”. Cester lideró la última resistencia de Lube, pero no logró acortar la brecha y fue 2-0 para los de De Cecco.

El tercer y último set arrancó parejo, y aunque Juantorena llevó a los suyos a estar adelante en el marcador, León volvió a hacer de las suyas para empatar en 10. Una serie de errores en la visita pusieron nuevamente en ventaja a Perugia, que no perdonó y logró tres puntos por sobre su rival. De allí en más, León se mostró infalible y aportó puntos clave para encaminar la victoria. Un saque fallido de Simón dejó el tablero 24-18 y el propio punta cubano aprovechó desde el saque para cerrar con un fantástico ace.
