El delantero santafesino Brian Fernández cambia de club. Así lo informó Necaxa, el equipo cuya camiseta vestía desde mediados del 2018 y donde había jugado 30 partidos y había marcado 17 goles.
Brian, fanático de Colón, seguirá su carrera en el Portland Timbers de Estados Unidos, que pagó la cláusula de salida. “El día de hoy (por este lunes 6) Portland formalizó la contratación de Fernández”, aseguró en un comunicado el club. Y agrega: “Así como también convenir a los intereses del jugador al estar de acuerdo en esta transferencia”.
De esta manera Brian va a sumarse a la lista de compatriotas que ya se encuentran en el equipo de los Estados Unidos: Diego Valeri, Sebastián Blanco, Tomás Conechny y Lucas Melano.

Brian se despidió en medio de una polémica. En uno de sus últimos partidos fue expulsado y se peleó con un hincha a quien escupió y le devolvió un objeto contundente que este le había arrojado.
