Respecto al equipo que prepara para la próxima competencia señaló: “Uno siempre tiene más o menos al 80% de un equipo, lógicamente hay imprevistos, hoy Vigo no entrenó por una molestia. Siempre hay algún jugador que tiene molestias o está cargado, por lo general siempre uno tiene 7 u 8 jugadores bien aceitados en su cabeza y a otros para integrarse. No creo que haya algún entrenador que diga estos son mis once y los demás estén descartados. Hay que entrenarlo a todos como si fueran titulares, uno nunca sabe que puede pasar”.
“Desde lo futbolístico estamos cambiando. Dejamos de ser un grupo para pasar a ser un equipo. Un grupo es un montón de personas juntas, un equipo es un grupo de personas juntas que trabajan con la misma intensidad y con el mismo objetivo. Por último se refirió a los refuerzos que vendrán en Colón: “Creo que vamos a traer mínimo un jugador por línea, en alguna línea quizás más jugadores. Para tener un mínimo de tres o cuatro y un máximo de siete”.
