Un hombre de 39 años fue detenido en Santa Fe por haber cometido 12 estafas a 35 víctimas como supuesto “organizador de eventos”. Según investigaron los fiscales María Laura Urquiza y Leandro Lazzarini, las víctimas les daban dinero para que armara fiestas que nunca sucedían.
“El imputado ofrecía la organización de eventos festivos privados. Concretaba reuniones con las víctimas y, mediante ardides y engaños, les solicitaba un adelanto de dinero para la contratación del salón en el que se realizaría el evento, catering, decoración, sonido e iluminación, fotografía y video, mesa dulce y cotillón”, señalaron desde el Ministerio Público Fiscal. Y agregaron que “el hombre investigado solicitaba el dinero a sabiendas de que no iba a cumplir con los servicios prometidos”.
“Al paso de unos días, algunas de las víctimas lo llamaban, pero el hombre no las atendía y perdían todo contacto con él. En otros casos, el mismo imputado era el que llamaba a las víctimas para decirles que el salón no estaba disponible y que había que posponer la fiesta, cuando en realidad nunca había reservado el lugar para la realización del festejo”, explicaron los fiscales a la radio LT10. “Incluso, en uno de los casos, una mujer llamó a la víctima, se presentó como la madre del organizador de la fiesta y le dijo que no se iba a poder cumplir con el contrato porque el imputado estaba en terapia intensiva”, agregaron.
Según manifestaron Urquiza y Lazzarini al finalizar la audiencia, “el juez dio por acreditado los hechos. Además, atendiendo a la cantidad de víctimas, al daño emocional que sufrieron y al perjuicio patrimonial que les causó el imputado, consideró el pedido de la Fiscalía e impuso la prisión preventiva”.
Los casos investigados son 12, entre enero y octubre de 2018, que produjeron perjuicios económicos por 656.750 pesos. Sin embargo, no descartan que pueda haber otros casos.
Entre las estafas, hubo ocho por la supuesta organización de cumpleaños de 15, dos por casamientos, uno por un cumpleaños y otro para la fiesta de egresados de un colegio de la ciudad. Por eso las víctimas ascienden a 35, porque un curso de 24 alumnos ya había hecho un adelanto del dinero.
Por eso, el jueves 11 allanaron su casa, en barrio Candioti. De allí se llevaron documentos probatorios que sirvieron como base respaldatoria una vez que el estafador fue detenido, en una pensión de Rosario, donde estaba resguardado temporalmente.
