El primer dueto del nuevo disco de Los Palmeras salió de manera anticipada y rompió todo. Es que los referentes de la cumbia santafesina tocaron con un ídolo del rock: el gran Andrés Calamaro.

Días después, Cacho Deicas y Marcos Camino contaron cómo fue esa experiencia: “Nos dijo que él conocía todo nuestro repertorio y era algo que nosotros lo ignorábamos. Además, contó que había muchos temas que nosotros habíamos grabado y que a él le caían ‘como un guante’, esa fue su expresión, como queriendo decir que esa canción estaba representando los sentimientos que él estaba atravesando”, dijeron en una entrevista con el diario La Capital de Rosario. Y completaron: “Porque más allá de ser un artista famoso, a él le pasan las mismas cosas que nos pasan a todos, sobre todo en la faz afectiva”.

Calamaro cantó con Los Palmeras el tema “Asesina”. Sin embargo no era el tema que más le gusta del grupo: tiene otro favorito. “El tema que más le agrada es uno que no estaba incluido en el repertorio que hicimos con la Filarmónica, y es ‘Noche con arte’. Ese es el tema que a él le caía como un guante, a lo mejor por sus vivencias ¿no?”, dijeron Deicas y Camino. Y agreron: “Lo que sucede es que tenemos que trabajar sobre las pistas ya grabadas con la Filarmónica de Santa Fe, y adaptarnos a ese repertorio”.

Todavía recuerdan lo que les dijo Calamaro cuando entró al estudio de grabación: “Tengo en todo el cuerpo martillazos de Los Palmeras”. “¿Es bueno, no?”, se ríe Cacho Deicas en la entrevista. “Salió tan fácil, tan espontáneo todo, porque se grabó en tiempo récord y enseguida el vuelo tan importante que tomó en las redes sociales nos sorprendió incluso a nosotros”, revelaron tras el primer suceso del nuevo trabajo.

Además de Calamaro, el grupo grabó con Coti Sorokin “El embrujo”; con Soledad “La suavecita”; con La Mosca “Qué quiere la Chola”; con Los Nocheros “Aprenderás a llorar” y con El Chaqueño Palavecino “Doble vida”. “Ahora estamos preparando el tema ‘Por primera vez’ junto a Jorge Rojas y ‘El parrandero’ con La Mona Jiménez”, anticiparon. Cuando lleguen a 10 temas lanzarán su primer disco, ahora que son un éxito que nadie puede discutir.

“La verdad es que es un orgullo.
